Walmart Announces CFO Transition Plan

BENTONVILLE, Ark., Nov. 29, 2021 — Walmart Inc. announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Brett Biggs will begin transitioning from Walmart during this upcoming year, after 22 years with the company, to begin a new chapter of opportunities in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Pfizer vaccines (and booster shots) are available for children 5-11 and children and adults 12 and up; Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines and boosters are available for individuals 18 and over, just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Governor Abbott Appoints Ward to State Commission on Judicial Conduct

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Kathy Ward to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for a term set to expire on November 19, 2027. The commission regulates the conduct of the state judiciary, including the power to recommend for retirement, censure, suspension, or removal of a judge from office.

 

Kathy Ward of Plano is an education technology and education consultant. She is a former morning drive time radio talk show co-host and now co-hosts two podcasts and produces multiple shows on the JPK Broadcasting Network. She currently volunteers as an appointed member of the School Based Improvement Council for Plano Academy High School. She previously served as a Plano Independent School District Special Education Lead Teacher and was appointed and then elected as a Collin County Commissioner. Ward received a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of North Texas.
