WHAT: The Houston Public Library will host Houston’s most recognizable chef Chris Shepherd! Recently named Chef of the Year (in the world) by Robb Report, the luxury-lifestyle magazine based in Los Angeles, Chris Shepherd will discuss his latest cookbook, Cook Like a Local: Flavors That can Change How You Cook and See the World, with KPRC news anchor Owen Conflenti.   There will be a book signing to follow the presentation.
