Citizens Police Academy seeking new students

Fort Worth, Texas - Learn how the Fort Worth Police Department operates, from training to criminal investigations, during the upcoming class of the Citizens Police Academy (CPA).

The CPA is an eight- to 12- week course held once a year in the evenings, covering an array of subjects. The next class begins May 7.

To be eligible, participants must:

• Meet preliminary qualifications: 18 years or older; no misdemeanors above a class C or felonies; have government identification; pass a background check; live or work in the City of Fort Worth.
• Complete an online application.
