Meeting to discuss proposed I-35W improvements in far north

Fort Worth, Texas - Share your comments on proposed frontage road improvements during a public meeting from 6-8 p.m. May 16 at Argyle Middle School, 6601 Canyon Falls Drive in Roanoke.

The meeting will be held in an open-house format. Study data and maps will be available for viewing. Representatives from TxDOT and project consultants will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received by May 31 to be a part of the official record.

The proposed project consists of constructing northbound and southbound frontage roads for I-35W from Dale Earnhardt Way in Fort Worth to south of the I-35E/I-35W interchange in Denton, a distance of 12.3 miles. The frontage roads would consist of one 12-foot-wide inside travel lane, one 14-foot-wide outside shared-use lane with two-foot-wide curb offsets and a six-foot-wide sidewalk in both directions. The proposed project would require additional right of way.
