International Museum of Art Ongoing Fundraiser Ends May 15th

El Paso, Texas - The International Museum of Art (IMoA) has an on-going fundraising campaign to raise $20,000for cataloging, appraising and caring for the museum’s permanent collection. Donations can be made via the IndieGoGo website, https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/international-museum-of-art-imoa#/. The campaign is scheduled to end on May 15, 2019.The museum was established in 1946. It is El Paso’s first museum and occupies the 43,000 sq. ft.William and Iva Turney home designed by famed architect Henry Trost located at 1211 MontanaAvenue.The collection consists of 10,000 objects consisting of historical sculptures created from bronze, porcelain, wood, jade, glass, and marble. The art collection dates back to the 1700s. Additional collections consist of the Kolliker collection, African artifacts, and Western Art.
