Mayor Sylvester Turner Announces the “Paying it Forward” with Love from Houston Relief Supply Drive for Louisiana

WHAT: The City of Houston, in partnership with Kroger Stores, will host the “Paying it Forward” with Love from Houston supply drive this week to help our neighbors in Louisiana recovering from Hurricane Ida.

WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 9 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.

WHERE: Houston City Hall in the 500 block of McKinney Street **drive through and drop off

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We are asking people to donate nonperishable food, diapers, hygiene kits, baby food, roofing supplies, cleaning supplies, water, and pet food to help those recovering from Hurricane Ida. These are the specific requests from the New Orleans Office of Emergency Management.
