Women's Soccer picked up their first win of the 2021 season after an explosive first half would push them past Texas Lutheran University. Laura Saravia capped off her huge weekend with the game-winning goal in this contest.
The Bulldogs would jump on the Celts after an
early goal in the third minute. However, midway through the first half, Emily Edwards would score her first collegiate goal to knot things up at one. The scoring wouldn't stop there as Laura Saravia would find the back of the net only minutes later.
After an electric first half, the Celts would lock in on the defensive end to shut down the Bulldog's attack. They would only surrender one shot on goal for the entire 90 minutes of play.
St. Thomas will return to action next Friday in Kerrville, Texas at Schreiner University.
